Megan
(Bonvivant Wish Me Luck)
DOB:24 Oct 08
Megan is the newest member of our family, she is a very bold cheeky little madam and her name Bonvivant Wish Me Luck certainly appies to us, we will need all the luck we can get I think! Megan's mum is Chamonix (Bonvivant Habibi) owned by Chris and Lisa Wright and her dad is Ronny (Bonvivant Kronik) owned by Jo Hyslop. Megan is currently training in Agility and has her Bronze and Silver Good Citizen Awards.

Megan is a year old today, she has started her agility training and currently goes to Agility Buds with Lucy Osborne in Skellingthorpe. She can do some jumping sequences and most equipment although she is yet to do the see-saw and flat tunnel. She is A-Frame mad, she absolutely loves it! We are currently on a Bronze Good Citizen Course, her test is in a few weeks time and she is more than capable of passing it.

Megan is our first dog to have a go at herding sheep. She was booked ono a session at the end of August, making her 10 months old, as I was curious as to how she would behave with sheep after she ran into a cow feild when she was about 6 months old and began to herd them.
Until the sheep were introduced she didn't seem at all interested in the training exercises but as soon as she got to practice with the sheep her natural instincts took over and she began to herd them, running in circles around the pen.
It was an activity that she really seemed to enjoy as you can tell by her big grin in the photo, alhough it was a one off activity, we don't plan on getting her a flock of sheep to play with any time soon!
This week is the first week in Feb and we have had loads of snow. Megan has absolutely loved it. she is quite happy to play in it for ages and roll around until she is soaking wet! Megan's character has really started to come out now, she is into everything (although so are the rest of her brothers and sisters i'm led to believe) and she is a real little piggy, everytime I look she has her head in the food cupboard trying to steal food from the bag! I have never known a dog like it and we have a labrador! At nearly 15 weeks old her training is going well, she enjoys meeting new people (especially if they give her a treat) and she loves meeting other dogs too. Last week at puppy class she evn did the tunnels with no bother so no problems for agility I wouldn't think!
Megan is 12 weeks old on Friday and has settled in really well. Heidi absolutely loves her and Brian is certainly getting used to her being around. She is a real character, she loves to run off with your clothes and shoes and loves to be playing games, especially with her ball. (A good sign as we hope to do flyball with her!) This week we start obedience training, so far we have learnt sit and down, we just need to practice them now. Megan is a very lively outgoing character who loves to meet new people and dogs and loves giving kisses and cuddles!
Do all Mali's sleep in this position?!
